Parliamentary elections to elect the Landtag of Sachsen-Anhalt are scheduled to take place on September 6, 2026. This market will resolve to "Yes" if the party Alternative for Germany (AfD) wins an absolute majority of seats in the state parliament of Sachsen-Anhalt (Landtag) as a result of this election. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If voting in the Sachsen-Anhalt election for the Landtag does not occur or the results are not known definitively by January 31, 2027, this market will resolve to "No". This market's resolution will be based solely on the number of seats won by the named party. This market will resolve based on the result of the election, as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as published on the official website of the Landtag of Sachsen-Anhalt (https://www.landtag.sachsen-anhalt.de/).

How will this market resolve, if they change the 5% hurdle after the election with the old Landtags majority (before the constituting session of the new Landtag) to revoke the won majority of AfD? I would prefer a bet "Will Ulrich Siegmund become Ministerpräsident of Sachsen-Anhalt" - much less ambiguity, or a clarification that it is the final majority after constitution of the new Landtag that counts.
Even tho these tyrants will do everything to stay in power and enrich themselves this wont happen. It's so obviously unconstitutional to change the terms of a prior election. If they do it they will do it before the election.

You'll probably be fine. Even if they win an absolute majority, the other special democrats will definitely do something shady to undo it.

Very hard for AFD. They are planning to change laws to also allow smaller parties to get seats. so they will change it that afd will not get most seats
Doing that would be political suicide for them.
